As of May 2017, all Blue Badge Protectors will have the new longer cable. Feedback from customers stated that the current cable was too short for some cars. Various cars have larger gaps between the steering wheel and dashboard.
This caused problems balancing the Protector to ensure the badge is visible.
The new cable increases the size from 1 metre to 1.8 metres which we hope will aid all users to prevent these problems and aid the ease of use of the protector.
